Growing Old, Growing Close
Designing the Later Chapters
Powered by the Exponential Coach Methodology 🧭
Awareness → Authenticity → Action. Every course is built on the same proven loop that has guided 1,500+ leaders from stuck to unstoppable.
You've built a life together—now design the decades ahead with the same intention you brought to the early years 🧭
Growing Old, Growing Close
This 21-day mastery course takes you from vague hopes to a shared, written design for your later chapters. You'll move through Awareness (naming what you each actually want), Authenticity (reconciling different visions without avoiding hard truths), and Action (building the plan, rituals, and agreements that turn intention into reality). By day 21, you'll have completed a joint later-life design covering place, purpose, health, and connection—and the communication depth to keep refining it together.
Six shifts. One new you. 🌱
Covering where you'll live, what you'll do, how you'll stay healthy, and how you'll stay close.
Money, health decline, family roles, dying wishes—named, discussed, and agreed in writing.
So neither of you drifts into irrelevance or separate worlds when work ends.
Who decides what, when you intervene, how you support without controlling.
Home, proximity to family, mobility, community—chosen together with clear reasoning.
This isn't a static document—it's a living governance system for your later life.
- You've been together long enough that 'the rest of our lives' means decades, not years
- You want to design your later chapters with the same care you brought to building your careers or raising your family
- One or both of you feel the clock ticking and you're ready to talk about what you've been avoiding
- You're done with vague 'we'll figure it out' and ready to make real decisions together
- ✕ You're in a new relationship or still figuring out if this is forever—this is mastery-level work for established couples
- ✕ You want surface-level inspiration, not the hard conversations about mortality, money, and competing desires
- ✕ You're looking for a course you can do alone—every task involves your partner directly
A curriculum designed to move you 🧭
Days 1-6. Individual visioning, then mutual disclosure. You'll surface assumptions, name fears, and map where your pictures of later life align and diverge. Includes structured exercises on place, purpose, health philosophy, family proximity, and legacy.
Days 7-12. Reconciling different visions without pretending the gaps don't exist. You'll negotiate competing desires around aging parents, mobility, spending, medical decisions, and dying wishes. Ends with your first integrated draft.
Days 13-18. From abstract agreement to concrete commitments. You'll write decision protocols, install health practices, design place timelines, and create the rituals that keep you aligned as circumstances change.
Days 19-21. Completing your joint later-life design document, testing it against three real decisions you face, and installing the quarterly review rhythm that makes this a living governance tool, not a dusty plan.

Coach
The Exponential Coach 🤝
The Exponential Coach has spent two decades guiding couples and individuals through the transitions most people avoid until crisis forces the conversation. With 1,500+ leaders and partners served across seven life domains, the approach blends depth psychology, practical systems design, and the recognition that great relationships require both emotional intimacy and operational excellence. This course was born from watching too many long-term couples drift into separate retirements because they never designed the later chapters together—and from the evidence that the couples who do this work early gain decades of closeness others lose to avoidable distance. You'll get the frameworks, templates, and hard-question prompts that turn vague hopes into a shared plan both of you can live inside with confidence.
Growth, in their own words 💖
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"We've been married 32 years and never once sat down to design what comes after retirement. This course gave us the structure to finally have those conversations—and our later-life plan is now printed, signed, and reviewed quarterly. We're not drifting anymore."
Markus & Anja, Munich (composite student voice)
"I was terrified we'd discover we wanted completely different things. Instead, we found that naming the gaps made them solvable. Our place decision, our health agreements, even our dying wishes—all written, all agreed, all removing the anxiety we'd been carrying separately."
Sophie, Geneva (composite student voice)
"This isn't a feel-good course. It's the operational manual for staying close through aging, illness, and the end of work. We finished with a 12-page joint design covering everything from where we live to who decides when one of us can't. Worth ten times the price."
David & Emma, London (composite student voice)
FAQ ☯️
Do we both need to take the course or can one of us do it and bring it to the other?+
One account works, but both of you need to engage with the daily tasks—they're designed as joint exercises. If your partner is hesitant, start by sharing the Day 1 content and the course outcomes, then invite them into the first exercise. Most resistance melts once they see you're not avoiding hard topics, you're structuring them.
We're only in our forties—isn't this course for people closer to retirement?+
The earlier you design your later chapters, the more options you have and the less reactive you'll be when aging or health forces a decision. Couples in their forties often get the most value because they're still building the financial and relational foundation the later plan rests on.
What if we discover we want completely different things for our later life?+
The course is built for that possibility. Days 7-12 are dedicated to reconciling divergent visions without pretending the gaps don't exist. You'll learn to negotiate competing desires, find hybrid solutions, and write agreements that honor both people. Discovery isn't failure—avoidance is.
We've already talked about some of this—do we really need a structured course?+
Talking and designing are different. Most couples have surface conversations that leave the hard decisions unnamed. This course moves you from 'we should probably think about that someday' to a written, agreed, executable plan covering place, purpose, health, and connection. If you already have that document and review it quarterly, you don't need this course.
How much time does this require each day, and what if we can't do it every day?+
Expect 20-30 minutes together per day: 5 minutes reading the morning content, 10-15 minutes on the joint task, 5 minutes on the evening recap. Life happens—if you miss a day, pick up the next day. The course stays open forever, but momentum matters. Stretching 21 days into three months dilutes the transformation.
