Judgment Journal
Learning Systematically from Your Own Decisions
Powered by the Exponential Coach Methodology π§
Awareness β Authenticity β Action. Every course is built on the same proven loop that has guided 1,500+ leaders from stuck to unstoppable.
Your decisions shape your company's future, but who's reviewing the quality of those decisions? π§
Judgment Journal
This 21-day course turns your decisions into your private leadership lab. You'll build a decision journal that captures choices in real time, then extract the patterns behind your best and worst calls. Awareness of your judgment tendencies becomes authenticity about your edge and blind spots, which drives action through calibrated decision-making. By day 21, you'll know your judgment signature.
Six shifts. One new you. π±
Capturing every significant choice with context, rationale, prediction and outcome in a repeatable format.
Extracted from your own data: where you consistently succeed, fail or hesitate under specific conditions.
You'll know when your gut is reliable and when you systematically over- or under-estimate outcomes.
Installed routines that bookend decisions, turning every call into compound learning before and after.
A filter you apply in real time that changes speed, consultation depth and documentation for each decision type.
Concrete next steps targeting your weakest pattern, ready to run the month after course completion.
- You make decisions with incomplete information daily and want to get better at it systematically
- You've been leading long enough to suspect you have judgment blind spots but lack the data to name them
- You're intellectually honest enough to review your own failures without ego defense
- You lead a team or company where your decision quality directly impacts other people's results
- β You believe your instincts are always right and reflection is navel-gazing
- β You want a course that tells you what to decide rather than how to learn from deciding
- β You're looking for decision frameworks only, no interest in tracking or reviewing your real choices
A curriculum designed to move you π§
Days 1-6. You build the journal structure, define what counts as a decision worth tracking, capture your first week of choices and learn to separate prediction from hope. The data collection starts immediately.
Days 7-12. Mid-course analysis. You extract early signals from your journal, identify cognitive traps you fall into, name the conditions under which you're sharpest and weakest, and confront one decision you've been avoiding.
Days 13-18. You test pattern-breaking interventions on live decisions, adjust confidence scoring based on evidence, run post-mortems on two completed choices and apply reversible-irreversible filters to active decisions.
Days 19-21. Final pattern synthesis. You write your judgment signature, design countermeasures for your three weakest areas, schedule quarterly decision reviews and complete the capstone: a high-stakes decision using your upgraded process.

Coach
The Exponential Coach π€
The Exponential Coach has spent 20 years working with founders and C-level executives who operate in high-uncertainty environments. Trained in decision science and behavioral strategy, the practice focuses on leaders who shape industries, not just manage them. This course distills two decades of post-decision reviews with clients into a system any leader can run alone.
The Judgment Journal method was born from repeated observations: the best leaders weren't the ones who never made mistakes, they were the ones who extracted lessons faster. This course gives you the same extraction discipline, without needing a coach in the room. You become your own decision scientist.
Growth, in their own words π
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"I've been a CEO for eight years and never systematically reviewed my own decisions until this course. Three weeks in, I identified a pattern I'd been blind to for years: I consistently underestimate implementation time when I'm excited about an idea. That one insight has already changed how I commit to launches."
Marcus, CEO Berlin (composite student voice)
"The reversible vs irreversible filter alone was worth the price. I was treating every decision like it could break the company. Now I move fast on reversible calls and slow down appropriately on the ones that matter. My exec team has noticed the shift."
Priya, COO London (composite student voice)
"I thought keeping a decision journal would feel like homework. It didn't. It felt like finally having a mirror that shows me how I actually think under pressure, not how I wish I thought. The patterns were uncomfortable but undeniable, and now I have a roadmap."
Stefan, Founder Zurich (composite student voice)
FAQ β―οΈ
Do I need to share my journal with anyone?+
No. This is private work. The journal is for you. You'll reflect on your own patterns, and the course never asks you to submit entries or share decisions publicly.
What if I make decisions as a team, not alone?+
The course adapts. You'll track your input and recommendation within team decisions, then review whether your judgment was sound regardless of the final group call. Collaborative decisions still reveal individual judgment quality.
I make dozens of decisions daily. Do I track them all?+
No. The course teaches you to define your tracking threshold: decisions with visible consequences, resource commitment or directional impact. Typically 2 to 5 per day. The rest are operational noise.
What if I discover my judgment is worse than I thought?+
That's the point. Awareness precedes improvement. Most leaders in this course find one or two areas where they're systematically off. Naming the gap is how you close it. The final module builds your correction plan.
Can I start this during a high-pressure period?+
Yes, that's ideal. The course works best when you're making real decisions under real conditions. Calm periods produce cleaner data but fewer insights. Pressure reveals your actual judgment tendencies.
