The Projection Mirror
The Projection Mirror is a 21-day mastery course for couples who've done the work and are ready to do the deeper work: owning what you've been exporting onto your partner. Through Awareness (spotting projection patterns), Authenticity (tracing complaints to their source), and Action (owning them out loud), you'll turn blame into intimacy and finally break the loops you thought were about them.
Six shifts. One new you. π±
You'll catch yourself mid-complaint and trace it back to your own unresolved material in real time.
You'll identify two recurring partner-directed complaints, trace each to its root in you, and own both in conversation.
You'll default to curiosity instead of criticism when your partner triggers you, because you know the trigger lives in you.
You'll have a written inventory of what you judge, deny, or exile in yourself that shows up as partner-blame.
You'll experience the closeness that arrives when you stop making your partner responsible for your inner weather.
You'll leave with a repeatable protocol for catching and owning projections before they calcify into resentment.
- You've been together long enough to notice you keep having the same fight with different words
- You're willing to consider that your partner's most annoying trait might be your disowned one
- You want intimacy more than you want to be right, but you need a structure to get there
- You're ready to own your material out loud, even when it's uncomfortable, because the relationship is worth it
- β You're looking for ammunition to prove your partner is actually the problem (they might be, but this course won't help you win that case)
- β You want surface-level communication tips without examining what you bring to the pattern
- β You're in a relationship where emotional safety doesn't exist yet (do that foundational work first, then come back)
A curriculum designed to move you π§
Days 1-6. Learn to spot projection in action, map your personal blame patterns, and distinguish what's yours from what's actually your partner's. You'll complete a projection inventory and catch two live moments by day six.
Days 7-13. Follow two recurring complaints backward through defensiveness, self-judgment, and early learning. You'll discover what you've been trying to exile in yourself and why your partner became the screen for it.
Days 14-18. Deliver two full ownership conversations with your partner, using the structured script that turns blame into vulnerability. You'll practice repair, track the relational shift, and document what changes when you stop exporting.
Days 19-21. Install your annual projection audit ritual, design the couple's mutual ownership protocol, and write the renewal commitment. You'll leave with a system that keeps you both accountable to what you each bring.

The Exponential Coach π€
The Exponential Coach brings 20 years of relational systems work and shadow integration to couples who've outgrown blame. Trained in depth psychology, attachment repair, and projective identification dynamics, they've guided over 1,500 leaders and partners through the disorienting work of owning what they've been pointing at. This course distills two decades of couples work into the most leveraged intervention: teaching you to see your partner clearly by first seeing yourself honestly. The result is intimacy earned through accountability, not won through argument.
Growth, in their own words π
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"I spent three years blaming my husband for being emotionally unavailable. Six days into this course, I realized I was the one who'd shut down first. Owning that out loud changed everything. We're closer now than we were at the beginning."
Marta K., Vienna (composite student voice)
"The projection inventory was brutal and necessary. I traced my biggest complaint about my wife back to something I learned from my father at age seven. When I told her that, she cried, I cried, and the fight we'd been having for a decade just... ended."
Jonas P., ZΓΌrich (composite student voice)
"This course doesn't let you off the hook, and that's exactly why it works. I owned two things I'd been blaming my partner for. The relief on his face when I said 'this is mine, not yours' was worth every uncomfortable moment."
Priya M., London (composite student voice)
FAQ β―οΈ
What if I go through the course and realize my partner actually is the problem?+
Possible. Projection work helps you see clearly, and sometimes clarity confirms the other person's behavior is the issue. But most long-term couples discover they've been co-creating the pattern. Either way, you'll know the truth instead of guessing, and that's worth the price of admission.
Do we both need to take the course, or can I do it alone?+
You can do it alone. The daily tasks are designed so you can initiate them unilaterally. That said, if your partner is willing to take it simultaneously, the mutual ownership accelerates everything. But one person doing the work changes the system regardless.
What if owning my projection makes me look weak or wrong?+
Owning your material makes you powerful, not weak. Blame is the weak position, it keeps you dependent on the other person changing. Ownership puts you back in the driver's seat of your own inner life. Your partner will respect it more than you fear.
How is this different from therapy?+
Therapy explores why you project. This course teaches you to catch it, trace it, and own it in real time with your actual partner. It's a structured practice system, not open-ended exploration. If you're in therapy, this complements it. If you're not, this gives you a repeatable protocol.
What if my partner gets defensive when I try to own something?+
The course includes exact scripts for delivery that minimize defensiveness. You'll learn to own your projection without making it about them, which paradoxically makes them more receptive. Day 16 specifically prepares you for pushback and gives you the repair moves.
