You love each other deeply, but your life together runs on autopilot and last-minute scrambles πΌ
The Relationship Board Meeting
The Relationship Board Meeting gives long-term couples what every thriving organization has: a governance rhythm. Over 21 days, you'll move from awareness of what's slipping through the cracks, to authentic dialogue about what matters most, to action through your first full quarterly session and a sustainable system you'll use for decades.
Six shifts. One new you. π±
You'll design your board meeting template addressing finances, parenting, health, home, careers, intimacy, and legacy.
You'll run the entire meeting during the course, ending with a shared plan and calendar blocks.
You'll install safety structures so nothing stays unspoken until it becomes a crisis.
You'll align on the year's priorities and track progress together instead of assuming alignment.
You'll map invisible work, assign clear ownership, and stop the 'I thought you were handling that' loop.
You'll build the system once and refine it every quarter, making governance a love practice.
- You've been together long enough that you finish each other's sentences, but big decisions still catch you by surprise
- You're both capable people who run complex lives, yet your relationship feels less organized than your job
- You want to lead your family intentionally, not just react to whatever's on fire this week
- You're ready to treat your partnership like the most important project you'll ever co-manage
- β You think talking about your relationship should always be spontaneous and romantic, never scheduled
- β You're looking for a quick fix for a relationship in crisis (this is architecture for strong couples going deeper)
- β You believe one partner should handle planning while the other just shows up when told
A curriculum designed to move you π§
Days 1-5. You'll audit your current decision-making patterns, map the invisible work both partners carry, identify what never gets discussed until it's urgent, and surface the topics you've been avoiding. You'll complete a full life-domains inventory together and name the gaps.
Days 6-11. You'll build your board meeting structure from scratch: agenda template, decision-making protocols, communication ground rules, and the physical setup that works for your life. You'll agree on frequency, duration, roles, and how to surface topics between sessions.
Days 12-17. You'll execute your first complete quarterly board meeting during the course. You'll practice each agenda section, make real decisions on current issues, assign ownership, calendar the next session, and debrief what worked and what needs adjustment.
Days 18-21. You'll install between-session practices (the running agenda, decision logs, role reviews), plan your next three sessions in advance, design your annual renewal ritual, and build the maintenance habits that keep this from becoming another thing you used to do. You'll close with a commitment ceremony.

Coach
The Exponential Coach π€
The Exponential Coach has spent two decades working with high-performing couples who excel in their careers but struggle to apply that same rigor to their partnerships. After watching too many capable people manage million-dollar projects flawlessly while letting their most important relationship run on hope and exhaustion, the methodology behind The Relationship Board Meeting was born. This course distills the governance practices used by the strongest long-term couples into a system any partnership can install in three weeks. The Exponential Coach has guided over 1,500 leaders through structured transformation across seven life domains, and believes the couples who govern their lives together stay together, grow together, and build legacies that outlast them.
Growth, in their own words π
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"We've been married 16 years and thought we communicated well, but we were just reacting. Our first board meeting uncovered six major decisions we'd been avoiding. Three months in, we've solved problems that used to fester for years. This changed everything."
Markus & Leila, Munich (composite student voice)
"I'm a CFO and my partner runs a nonprofit. We're both organized people, but our home life was chaos. The board meeting gave us a shared operating system. We finally feel like we're building something together instead of just surviving the week."
Priya, London (composite student voice)
"The quarterly rhythm is a marriage saver. We used to have the same fight about money every few months because we never actually decided anything. Now we have a forum, a process, and a record. We show up as partners, not opponents."
Chen, Singapore (composite student voice)
FAQ β―οΈ
What if my partner thinks scheduling relationship talks is unromantic?+
The couples who schedule governance time have more spontaneous romance, because they're not constantly managing crises or carrying unspoken resentment. You're not scheduling intimacy, you're scheduling the infrastructure that protects intimacy. Frame it as the work that keeps everything else light.
How long does a quarterly board meeting actually take?+
Your first session will take 90 to 120 minutes. As you refine the process, most couples land at 60 to 90 minutes per quarter. That's six hours a year to govern everything. Compare that to the hours spent in circular arguments or rediscovering the same problem every few months.
We already talk about big stuff when it comes up. Why do we need a formal structure?+
If you're only talking when things come up, you're always reactive. The board meeting makes you proactive. You'll surface issues before they're urgent, review what's working, celebrate progress, and align on the future. It's the difference between managing crises and designing your life.
What if we disagree during the session and can't reach a decision?+
The course includes decision-making protocols for exactly this. You'll learn when to decide now, when to table and research, when to try an experiment, and how to make tie-breaking fair. Not every decision happens in one session, and that's by design.
Can we adapt this if we don't have kids or aren't married?+
Absolutely. The board meeting works for any committed long-term partnership. You'll customize the agenda to your actual life: maybe you're managing aging parents, building a business together, or planning a relocation. The structure adapts to your domains, and the course shows you how.
