Think in Decades
Long-Game Decision Making
Powered by the Exponential Coach Methodology π§
Awareness β Authenticity β Action. Every course is built on the same proven loop that has guided 1,500+ leaders from stuck to unstoppable.
You're building something that outlives you, but your decisions still live in the next quarter π
Think in Decades
Think in Decades gives you the mental operating system that separates empire-builders from hustle addicts. Over 21 days, you'll move from short-term reactivity (Awareness) to honest diagnosis of your true timeline (Authenticity) to re-deciding two live choices through a ten-year lens (Action). You'll document what changes when you think past the exit.
Six shifts. One new you. π±
A decision filter you can apply to any choice in under three minutes.
You'll know which current bets are building and which are just buying time.
You re-commit or walk away from two live opportunities using decade logic, documented.
Visual tool showing where your energy lives versus where your wealth compounds.
How to hold the long view while quarterly pressure tries to break you.
Build today knowing what the business needs to look like the day you leave.
- You've built something that works and now you're deciding what it becomes
- You have opportunities on the table and no clean way to choose between them
- You want the discipline to say no to short-term wins that break the long arc
- You're thinking about legacy, wealth transfer, or what the business looks like without you
- β You're still in survival mode and need to make rent next month (start with Emerging Leaders)
- β You want tactics for this quarter's revenue goal, not next decade's foundation
- β You think long-term planning means a five-year strategic deck you'll never open again
A curriculum designed to move you π§
Diagnose where quarterly thinking is quietly killing decade outcomes. You'll audit your last 10 major decisions and score them on a time-horizon matrix. Includes the Urgent-Important-Foundational grid and your first legacy conversation with someone who depends on your choices.
Build the ten-year picture backward from exit, legacy, or wealth transfer. You'll write your future-self letter, map the business as it needs to exist without you, and identify the two decisions that matter most in the next 90 days when viewed through that lens.
Apply the Ten-Year Lens Protocol to two current opportunities or commitments. You'll run each through the framework, document what changes, and make the call. One stays, one goes, or both transform. This is where theory becomes documented action.
Lock in the discipline. You'll build quarterly check-in rituals that keep the decade view alive, create your personal decision firewall against shiny-object syndrome, and write your 30-day commitment to holding the long game when the world screams short.

Coach
The Exponential Coach π€
The Exponential Coach has spent 20 years working with founders, executives, and strategists who are building businesses that outlive them. His framework for long-game decision making emerged from watching hundreds of entrepreneurs choose between what looked good this year and what would still be compounding in 2035. He's guided exits, succession plans, and legacy transfers across industries where the founder's timeline was the hidden variable in every major decision. This course distills the decision architecture he's used with clients building generational wealth and multi-decade enterprises. He teaches from the belief that strategic patience is a skill, not a personality trait, and that the ten-year lens changes everything once you know how to use it.
Growth, in their own words π
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"I killed a partnership that looked perfect on paper because the ten-year view showed it would own me, not free me. Best no I've said in three years."
Lars M., SaaS founder, Munich (composite student voice)
"The Legacy Audit made me realize I was optimizing for an exit I don't even want. I restructured my whole cap table in week two."
Sofia K., CEO, Milan (composite student voice)
"I've done strategy workshops. This isn't that. This made me re-decide how I'm spending 2025 because I finally saw what 2035 actually needs."

FAQ β―οΈ
I already do annual strategic planning. How is this different?+
Annual planning optimizes the next 12 months. This course teaches you to filter every choice through a ten-year outcome lens, which often means saying no to what your annual plan would green-light. It's the operating system under the plan, not a replacement for it.
What if I don't know where I'll be in ten years?+
You don't need certainty. You need a direction and a decision filter. The course helps you define the legacy outcome you're building toward, even if the path isn't locked. The ten-year lens works because it shows you what breaks the long game, not because it predicts the future.
Can I do this if I'm planning to exit in the next two years?+
Absolutely. Exit planning IS long-game thinking. You'll use the course to decide what the business needs to look like the day you leave, which changes what you build between now and then. Several exercises are explicitly designed for founders in pre-exit mode.
Will this work if I'm a solopreneur, not running a team?+
Yes. The principles apply to any business where your decisions compound over years. You'll adapt the frameworks to solo context (your skill stack, your portfolio, your wealth strategy), but the ten-year lens works the same. One of the re-decisions might be whether to stay solo or scale.
What if the two decisions I need to make are personal, not business?+
The course lives in Business Development, but the Strategic Empire tier assumes your business and life are not separate systems. If a personal choice (relocation, partnership, health) affects your ten-year business outcome, it's fair game. The framework works on any high-stakes decision.
