Values Compass: Knowing What You Stand For
Find Your Core Five and Decide With Certainty
Powered by the Exponential Coach Methodology 🧭
Awareness → Authenticity → Action. Every course is built on the same proven loop that has guided 1,500+ leaders from stuck to unstoppable.
You make dozens of decisions every week, but you've never written down the principles that should be guiding them 🧭
Values Compass: Knowing What You Stand For
Values Compass takes you from vague ideals to a ranked, tested list of five core values that guide real decisions. Over 14 days, you'll move from Awareness (naming what actually matters) to Authenticity (ranking them honestly, not aspirationally) to Action (using them to make one concrete decision during the course). By the end, you'll have a values system you trust because you've already proven it works.
Six shifts. One new you. 🌱
Not 20 vague words, but five precise values in priority order, tested against real tradeoffs.
You'll use your values to make a real choice during the course, not hypothetically.
You'll know why certain decisions feel hard: competing values, not weakness or confusion.
One clear sentence that describes what you stand for, ready to share or keep private.
You'll see where your days match your values and where they don't, with specifics.
A simple question sequence you can use in any future fork-in-the-road moment.
- You're tired of making decisions by default and want a system rooted in what you actually believe
- You've achieved external success but suspect you're optimizing for the wrong scorecard
- You want to lead with integrity but you've never defined what integrity means for you specifically
- You're ready to make one decision this month that your future self will thank you for
- ✕ You want someone to tell you what your values should be (you'll do the work to discover your own)
- ✕ You're looking for a quick fix without testing your conclusions in real life
- ✕ You think values are nice-to-have ideas, not tools that should change how you spend Tuesday
A curriculum designed to move you 🧭
Days 1-4. Surface your lived values (not aspirational ones), separate inherited values from chosen ones, and name what you've been optimizing for without realizing it.
Days 5-9. Rank your values through forced tradeoffs, test them against past decisions, and write your personal values statement without the corporate jargon.
Days 10-12. Use your ranked values to make one real decision during the course, document the process, and measure the clarity difference.
Days 13-14. Audit where your weekly schedule matches your values, close one gap, and build a values-refresh ritual so the compass doesn't gather dust.

Coach
The Exponential Coach 🤝
The Exponential Coach has spent two decades helping leaders close the gap between the lives they're living and the lives they'd design from scratch. With 1,500+ leaders coached across seven countries, the methodology is built on one insight: most people know what they value, but they've never forced themselves to rank it, and without ranking, every decision becomes a negotiation with no clear winner. Values Compass distills that coaching into 14 days.
This course was born from watching capable professionals make decisions that made them miserable, not because they were wrong, but because they were optimizing for someone else's definition of right. The framework inside has been tested with executives choosing between promotions and personal life, entrepreneurs deciding what to build next, and mid-career professionals redesigning entire careers. It works because it's not theoretical—it forces you to make one decision using the system before the course ends.
Growth, in their own words 💖
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"I've been in leadership for 12 years and never wrote down my values. Day 9 hit me hard—I realized I'd been chasing my father's version of success, not mine. Used my new compass to turn down a promotion that would've destroyed my health. Best no I've ever said."
Michael K., operations director, Munich (composite student voice)
"The forced ranking exercise on Day 6 was brutal in the best way. I had to choose between 'financial security' and 'creative freedom' as my number one, and I've been lying to myself about that priority for five years. Made a career pivot two weeks after finishing the course."
Priya S., marketing consultant, London (composite student voice)
"I thought I knew my values. Turns out I knew the values I wanted to have. The lived-values audit in Week 1 showed me I've been spending 60 hours a week on things that don't crack my top five. The decision I made on Day 11 reclaimed 15 of those hours. Immediate, measurable life improvement."
Jonas T., startup founder, Copenhagen (composite student voice)
FAQ ☯️
What if I already know what I value?+
Most people know what they aspirationally value. This course surfaces what you actually value based on how you spend time, money, and energy right now. The gap is often surprising and always useful. You'll also rank them, which most people skip—and ranking is where the power lives.
Do I need to make a big life decision to get value from this?+
No. The decision you make during the course can be small: which project to prioritize, how to spend Saturday, whether to have a difficult conversation. The point is to use the compass on something real while you're building it, so you trust it when bigger decisions arrive.
I'm worried my real values will make me look selfish or unambitious.+
Your values are yours, not a performance for LinkedIn. The course includes a module on separating inherited values from chosen ones specifically because so many people carry values they never signed up for. You'll define what you stand for, and you're not required to share it with anyone.
What if my values conflict with my current job or relationship?+
That's information, not failure. The values-behavior gap audit will show you where misalignment lives. What you do with that information is your choice—the course won't tell you to quit your job. But you'll have clarity on the cost of staying, which is worth the price alone.
How much time does this take each day?+
3-5 minutes for the morning lesson, a daytime task (usually 10-30 minutes depending on the day), and 2 minutes for the evening reflection. Total: 15-40 minutes per day. Some tasks (like the Day 11 decision) may take longer if you choose a complex decision, but that's your call.
