Awareness → Authenticity → Action. Every course is built on the same proven loop that has guided 1,500+ leaders from stuck to unstoppable.
You're at the table, but your voice isn't moving the room. 🎯
Boardroom Presence
Boardroom Presence is a 21-day executive leadership course that trains you to govern, not just attend. You'll move from awareness of boardroom power dynamics to authentic executive voice to coordinated action—preparing and delivering one high-stakes board intervention with pre-alignment by the final day.
Six shifts. One new you. 🌱
You'll internalize the mindset separation between running the business and overseeing it, with daily governance-lens practice.
You'll read alliances, agendas, and unspoken hierarchies during live meetings and adapt your approach accordingly.
You'll design board contributions using pre-alignment, timing, and framing that move decisions instead of just adding comments.
You'll calibrate tone, brevity, and conviction so your voice carries weight without overreach or false deference.
You'll handle dissent, challenge the chair, or escalate concerns using techniques that protect relationships and credibility.
You'll execute a real board moment—question, motion, or challenge—with documented pre-work, allies secured, and clear outcome.
- You're on a board (corporate, nonprofit, advisory) and want to contribute at the governance level, not just report or react
- You're a founder or CEO learning to work with a board instead of around it, or preparing for your first outside board seat
- You have domain expertise but struggle to translate it into boardroom influence—you're heard but not followed
- You're tired of rehearsing the perfect intervention in your head after the meeting ends and want to say it in the room
- ✕ You're looking for general executive presence tips—this is governance-specific, not all senior leadership contexts
- ✕ You've never been in a boardroom and aren't preparing for one imminently (start with Leading Leaders first)
- ✕ You want theory about board structures—this course assumes you know how boards work and focuses entirely on how you work within them
A curriculum designed to move you 🧭
You'll map the formal and informal power structures in your board, identify your current positioning, and audit your last six months of contributions for patterns of impact or invisibility. Days include skip-level governance thinking, reading the room diagnostics, and recognizing when you're operating instead of governing.
You'll define your unique boardroom value (the expertise, perspective, or accountability only you bring) and practice speaking from that authority without apology or inflation. You'll separate performance anxiety from legitimate caution and build a personal board communication style that feels like you at your most confident.
You'll select one real board issue requiring your voice, pre-align with key stakeholders, script your intervention using boardroom syntax (not operational language), and rehearse handling four likely responses. You'll execute the intervention during an actual meeting and document what happened.
You'll debrief your intervention with a mentor or peer, extract three transferable techniques, and design your post-course board engagement system (prep routines, reflection rituals, relationship maintenance). Final day builds your 90-day governance impact plan.

Coach
The Exponential Coach 🤝
The Exponential Coach has spent two decades training leaders to operate at the altitude their role demands. With 1,500+ leaders coached across corporate boards, nonprofit governance, and founder-investor dynamics, the methodology behind Boardroom Presence comes from real rooms where one question changed the outcome and one poorly timed comment cost credibility. This course distills that lived pattern recognition into a repeatable system.
Boardroom work is different. The stakes are higher, the exposure is permanent, and no one tells you the unwritten rules. This course does. It's built for the executive who's done earning the seat and is ready to use it.
Growth, in their own words 💖
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"I used to prepare talking points for board meetings like I was presenting to the executive team. After this course I learned to think like a governor, not a reporter. I asked one question in Q2 that shifted our M&A priority—something I'd never have surfaced before. The pre-alignment method alone was worth ten times the price."
Markus Chen, CFO, Munich (composite student voice)
"I'm a founder and my board felt like a performance review every quarter. This course taught me to see them as a tool, not a tribunal. I now send a one-page pre-read with the decision I need and three options, and we spend meetings deciding instead of catching up. My relationship with two board members completely changed."
Priya Deshmukh, Founder & CEO, Bangalore (composite student voice)
"I've sat on four boards and always felt like the youngest voice in the room, so I stayed quiet unless directly asked. Week two's authenticity work helped me name my actual value—I bring the customer perspective no one else has lived. I've spoken up three times in six weeks on strategy blindspots and been thanked privately each time."

FAQ ☯️
I'm not on a corporate board—does this apply to nonprofit or advisory boards?+
Yes. The governance dynamics, power structures, and intervention techniques work identically across corporate, nonprofit, and advisory contexts. The course uses examples from all three. If you sit in a room where you're overseeing rather than executing, this applies.
What if I don't have a board meeting during the 21 days?+
You'll still design and pre-align the intervention, and you can execute it in the next meeting or in a one-on-one with the chair or lead director. Several students have used the method for prepared escalations outside formal meetings with full success.
I'm a CEO—should I take this if I'm being governed, not governing?+
Absolutely. Understanding how effective board members prepare and deliver interventions makes you better at working with your board. You'll also use these techniques if you join an outside board, which most CEOs do eventually.
Is this about boardroom politics or actual governance?+
Both, because they're inseparable. You can't govern effectively if you don't understand the room's power map, and you can't play politics ethically without a governance-first mindset. The course teaches influence in service of oversight, not careerism.
What if my intervention doesn't go as planned?+
That's expected and part of the learning. The course prepares you to read the response in real time, adapt if needed, and debrief afterward with a framework for what worked and what to adjust. Boardroom skill is built through iterations, and this gives you the first one with scaffolding.
