Building Teams by Design
Casting Roles Without Constant Friction
Powered by the Exponential Coach Methodology 🧭
Awareness → Authenticity → Action. Every course is built on the same proven loop that has guided 1,500+ leaders from stuck to unstoppable.
You keep hiring smart people who clash in rooms, and you're tired of refereeing energy instead of leading work. 🧭
Building Teams by Design
This course teaches you to see your team as an energy system, not a skills list. You'll learn to cast roles using Human Design mechanics—who initiates, who executes, who reflects—so friction becomes function. Awareness of each person's natural decision rhythm, Authenticity in designing meetings and workflows that fit the humans in the room, Action through 14 days of real team redesign.
Six shifts. One new you. 🌱
You'll stop assigning the wrong energy to the wrong role and wondering why nothing moves.
No more steamrolled introverts or frustrated fast-deciders waiting for consensus that never comes.
You'll see why certain people absorb room tension and learn to structure around it.
Walk away with a team design you can implement Monday, using your actual humans.
You'll know who needs time, who needs input, who needs silence, and how to sequence it.
Your team gets better because the structure finally matches how they're built to operate.
- You lead a team that's talented on paper but constantly stuck in process friction and energy clashes
- You're open to Human Design as a practical tool, even if you've never used it before (no chart reading required)
- You have decision-making authority over how your team meets, collaborates, and divides work
- You're willing to redesign workflows based on how people actually function, not how an org chart says they should
- ✕ You want a quick personality-test shortcut to label your team and move on—this is systems work, not sorting hats
- ✕ You're looking for HR templates or corporate compliance frameworks (this is about energy, not policy)
- ✕ You need everyone on your team to take the course with you—this is for the leader who designs the container, not a group exercise
A curriculum designed to move you 🧭
Learn the five Human Design types in plain language and identify who on your team initiates, responds, guides, reflects, or manifests. Map your team's decision authorities and open centers. See the invisible friction patterns you've been managing as personality problems.
Design meeting formats for mixed-authority teams. Assign project roles based on natural energy flow, not resumes. Identify which team members need alone-time to decide and which need the room's input. Build a role matrix you can actually use.
Implement your new team structure in a live project. Adjust communication rhythms to match your team's design. Handle resistance and confusion when you change how decisions happen. Test and iterate based on what moves, not what sounds good in theory.
Lock in your team's operating rhythm with a repeatable design template. Train yourself to onboard new members through a Human Design lens. Create a decision-making playbook your team can reference without you in the room. Anchor the shift so it survives your next hire, your next project, your next quarter.

Coach
The Exponential Coach 🤝
The Exponential Coach has spent 12 years translating Human Design from mystical framework into practical leadership mechanics. After watching hundreds of teams burn energy on friction that came from mismatched roles, not bad people, they built a system for designing teams around how humans actually work—energetically, not just functionally. This course distills that system into 14 days of redesign you can implement with the team you have right now.
Their work sits at the intersection of leadership development and human design application, serving founders, directors, and team leads across DACH and global markets. They believe team friction is a design problem, not a people problem, and that most leaders are one role recast away from a team that finally flows.
Growth, in their own words 💖

"I stopped trying to make my detail-oriented analyst lead brainstorms and gave that role to someone built for it. The whole team exhaled. Three months later we're shipping faster and no one's burnt out."
Claudia M., Head of Product, Vienna (composite student voice)
"I used to think my quietest team member was disengaged. Turns out she's a Reflector and needs 48 hours to process decisions. Now I loop her in early and our strategy is sharper because she has time to see what we all miss in the heat of the room."
Jonas T., Startup Founder, Berlin (composite student voice)
"This course gave me permission to stop running meetings like a democracy. I have three Generators who need to respond, one Manifestor who needs to inform, and me, a Projector who needs to be invited to guide. Now everyone knows their role and we've cut meeting time by half."
Priya S., Engineering Lead, Zurich (composite student voice)
FAQ ☯️
Do I need to know my team's Human Design charts?+
No. You'll learn to recognize energy patterns in how people already show up—who waits to respond, who jumps first, who processes out loud. Charts help but aren't required. The course teaches you to read the room, not the software.
What if my team has never heard of Human Design?+
Good. You're not teaching them a system, you're redesigning how work happens based on what you learn. They'll experience better meetings and clearer roles. You can share the why later if it's useful, but the design works whether they know the framework or not.
Will this work if I can't change job titles or reporting lines?+
Yes. This isn't about restructuring the org chart. It's about how you run meetings, assign project leads, sequence decisions, and design collaboration. You can apply it within whatever formal structure you're working inside.
How much time will I need each day during the course?+
Each lesson takes 3-5 minutes to read. The daily task is something you'd do in your workday anyway—run a meeting, assign a role, observe a decision process—but you'll do it through a new lens. Evenings, 5 minutes to reflect. This fits inside your existing calendar.
What if I try this and my team pushes back on the changes?+
The course includes specific language for introducing new workflows without sounding like you joined a cult. You'll also learn to iterate based on resistance—sometimes pushback is data showing you cast a role wrong. The goal isn't compliance, it's flow. You adjust until it works.
