Your managers ask for answers because you never taught them to coach. 🧭
The Coach of Coaches: Developing Managers Who Develop People
You can't multiply leadership by telling managers to coach. You multiply it by teaching them one framework, watching them use it, and correcting what breaks. This 14-day course moves your reporting managers from advice-givers to capability-builders using a method you can verify in their actual 1:1s.
Six shifts. One new you. 🌱
Not theory. A repeatable question sequence they'll use the same day they learn it.
Specific behaviors to look for in skip-levels and manager debriefs, not vague hope.
You'll spot whether it's question quality, listening depth, or follow-through, and fix the right thing.
Ask three questions in a skip-level and you'll know if their manager is coaching or just checking in.
Exact phrases that reframe coaching from 'soft skill' to 'capacity multiplier' for skeptical direct reports.
You'll see a team member take on work they couldn't do before, traced directly to coached conversations.
- You manage managers and at least one of them still solves every problem themselves instead of growing their people
- You've told your team leads to 'be more developmental' but you never gave them a concrete method to practice
- You want to scale leadership depth across your organization but you're tired of sending people to workshops that change nothing
- You're willing to spend two weeks teaching something properly instead of hoping it sticks from a single training session
- ✕ You think coaching is about being nice and asking 'how does that make you feel' instead of building capability
- ✕ Your managers don't have regular 1:1s yet (fix that first, then come back to this)
- ✕ You want a course you can forward to your managers and never think about again (this requires your active teaching and verification)
A curriculum designed to move you 🧭
Days 1-4. Why your managers default to answers, what real coaching looks like at their level, and the one framework you'll teach them. You'll map which managers coach, which advice-give, and which avoid the conversation entirely.
Days 5-8. You pick one manager and teach them the GROW-based question sequence in a live session. They practice it with you, then use it in their next 1:1. You debrief what worked and what broke.
Days 9-11. You teach the framework to the rest of your managers in a working session, assign each one a coaching target, and install a weekly check-in rhythm. You'll also run your first skip-level using the coaching-verification questions.
Days 12-14. Your managers report their coaching outcomes, you diagnose common failure modes, and you build the reinforcement system (peer practice, manager debriefs, recognition). Final day: one manager shows documented evidence of a team member's growth traced to coached conversations.

Coach
The Exponential Coach 🤝
The Exponential Coach has spent 20 years working with leaders who discovered that their own promotion created a capability ceiling for everyone below them. This course comes from hundreds of sessions with managers of managers who knew their people needed to develop others but had no practical method to make it happen. The frameworks here aren't from a book. They're from watching what works when a department head teaches a team lead to stop answering questions and start building thinkers.
The Exponential Coach designs every Knowledge Vault course to produce a behavior change you can see the same day, not a concept you might remember next month. If you finish this course and your managers are still doing all the thinking for their teams, the course failed. That won't happen.
Growth, in their own words 💖
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"I taught the framework to my three team leads on a Monday. By Friday, one of them had coached a junior through a client problem I would've solved myself last month. That person owned the solution and grew visibly. I have evidence now, not just hope."
Petra Andersen, Operations Director, Copenhagen (composite student voice)
"My managers used to escalate people problems to me because they didn't know what else to do. Two weeks after this course, they're having the hard conversations themselves and I'm hearing about it in debriefs, not as救fire requests. The skip-level questions were gold."
Michael Okafor, Head of Engineering, Lagos (composite student voice)
"I was skeptical that you could teach coaching in 14 days. Turns out you can't teach mastery, but you can teach one framework well enough that people use it and get better at it. One of my managers is now running peer coaching practice with their team. That's spread I didn't expect."

FAQ ☯️
What if my managers say they don't have time to coach?+
That's a symptom of the advice-giving trap. When they answer every question, they create more questions. Day 3 gives you the exact ROI conversation to run with a time-objection manager, using their own workload as proof. You'll also help them find the five minutes they're already spending answering questions and turn those into coaching moments instead.
Do I need to be a trained coach to teach this?+
No. You need to be a manager who's seen the difference between someone who builds capability and someone who just gets things done. The course gives you the framework, the teaching session structure, and the verification method. You're not becoming a professional coach. You're installing one repeatable leadership practice in your management layer.
What if one of my managers tries it and it goes badly?+
That's expected and that's why you debrief it. Days 6 and 10 include diagnostic tools for the three common failure modes: asking leading questions (still advice-giving), skipping the listening step, and coaching without setting up the conversation. You'll know which one happened and how to correct it.
Can I use this if my managers are remote or in different time zones?+
Yes. The teaching session on Day 6 works live or async (you record yourself teaching the framework, they watch, practice with a peer, then report back). The skip-level coaching check works in any format. The peer practice sessions your managers run with each other can happen over video. The method doesn't require a room.
How is this different from sending my managers to a coaching training?+
External training teaches coaching as a standalone skill. This course teaches you to install coaching as a team operating system. You're not outsourcing the development. You're learning to teach, verify, and reinforce the practice inside your actual management rhythm. Also, this costs EUR 67 and takes 14 days. Most coaching certifications cost thousands and produce the same capability gap because nobody follows up.
