Your fights don't have to end in slammed doors and silent treatment 💖
Fight Fair: Turning Arguments into Understanding
This 14-day course teaches you how to disagree without destroying each other. You'll move from Awareness of what makes your fights toxic, to Authenticity in expressing your real needs without attack, to Action—applying fair-fighting rules in a real disagreement and debriefing it together. By the end, arguments become bridges, not battlefields.
Six shifts. One new you. 🌱
Catch yourself mid-argument and apply a pause technique that actually works in real time.
Say what's wrong using I-statements that your partner can hear instead of defend against.
Hear the longing under your partner's complaint, even when they're saying it badly.
Know the exact steps to reconnect after a fight instead of letting silence harden into distance.
Turn one real argument into shared learning by walking through what happened and what to do differently.
Create agreed rules for how you two handle conflict, designed for your specific triggers and patterns.
- You're in a committed relationship and tired of the same destructive argument patterns on repeat
- You want to stay together and you're willing to change how you fight, not just what you fight about
- You can commit to practicing new skills in real disagreements, not just reading about them
- You're ready to involve your partner in some tasks—this isn't solo work, it's couple work
- ✕ You're single or casually dating—this course is built for committed partnerships with shared stakes
- ✕ You want your partner to change but aren't willing to examine your own part in the cycle
- ✕ You're looking for communication theory without the discomfort of applying it in live conflict
A curriculum designed to move you 🧭
Identify the Four Horsemen in your arguments (criticism, contempt, defensiveness, stonewalling), map your personal triggers, and understand why you fight the way you do.
Learn soft startup, I-statements, and how to express your real needs clearly. Practice speaking your hurt in ways your partner can actually receive.
Apply de-escalation techniques, time-outs, and listening-past-defense in one live disagreement. Complete the course's signature task: debriefing a real fight together.
Build a shared repair menu, agree on fight-fair ground rules, and install practices that keep small disagreements from becoming relationship-threatening wars.

Growth, in their own words 💖
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"We went from screaming matches that lasted hours to disagreements we can resolve in twenty minutes. The soft startup alone changed everything. My partner actually listens now because I'm not coming in hot."
Daniela M., project manager, Vienna (composite student voice)
"I didn't realize how much contempt had crept into our tone until Day 3. Catching myself mid-eye-roll and choosing a different response felt awkward at first, but by the second week it was automatic. We sound like we like each other again."
James T., software engineer, Dublin (composite student voice)
"The debrief task on Day 10 was hard—sitting down after a fight to talk about the fight itself felt vulnerable—but it's now our most powerful tool. We don't just move on anymore, we actually learn from what happened."
Priya S., consultant, Zurich (composite student voice)
FAQ ☯️
What if my partner won't take the course with me?+
You take it solo. Many tasks are things you can do unilaterally—changing how you start a conversation, pausing before reacting, listening differently. Your shift changes the dynamic even if your partner never reads a lesson. That said, some tasks work best if you can invite your partner into them, and we give you language for that invitation.
Will this work if we've been fighting the same way for years?+
Yes, if you're both willing. Long-established patterns are harder to change, but they're not permanent. The course addresses exactly that: breaking cycles that feel automatic. Expect the first few applications to feel clunky. By the second week, new responses start to feel natural.
What if we're past fighting and into cold silence?+
Stonewalling and withdrawal are covered explicitly. If you're in a silent phase, some early tasks focus on re-opening dialogue safely. You'll need to take the first step—the course gives you the exact wording and timing to do that without triggering another shutdown.
Do we both need to take the course, or can one of us do it alone?+
One person can take it and apply the tools in their half of the interaction. That alone shifts the pattern. But the debrief task (the course outcome) works best if both partners are willing to sit down together afterward. You don't both need to be enrolled—just both willing to try something new.
What if our fights involve bigger issues like money, in-laws, or parenting?+
The course teaches you how to fight, not what to fight about. Fair-fighting skills apply to any topic. You'll practice on real disagreements during the fourteen days—whether that's whose turn it is to do dishes or how to handle your mother-in-law, the structure is the same.
