You can't ask for what you want if you don't know what it is π
Needs, Named
This 7-day course takes you from vague longing to clear knowing. You'll build a ranked inventory of your actual relationship needs, separate wants from non-negotiables, and practice expressing one need directly to a real person in your life. Awareness of what you need. Authenticity in naming it. Action in asking for it.
Six shifts. One new you. π±
Six core relationship needs identified, separated from surface wants, and ordered by importance to you
A decision tool that stops you settling by mistaking preferences for requirements
You will ask for something you need from a real person and survive the vulnerability
Understand where each need came from and why some feel forbidden to voice
Exact language for expressing needs without demands, blame, or apologizing for having them
A framework for evaluating any relationship by how it meets or starves your core needs
- You're single or partnered but tired of relationships that leave you empty while looking fine on paper
- You've been told you're too picky but suspect you've actually been not picky enough about the things that matter
- You can list what you don't want easily but go blank when someone asks what you do want
- You're ready to stop adapting yourself into someone easier to love and start being loved as you are
- β You think naming needs out loud will scare good people away (it will scare the wrong people away, which is the point)
- β You're looking for a list of needs to copy-paste without doing the self-inquiry work
- β You believe relationships should be effortless and needs-talk ruins the magic
A curriculum designed to move you π§
Map your relationship needs from scratch. Identify the six you learned to suppress and the three you've been chasing in every wrong person. Complete a full needs audit covering security, growth, intimacy, autonomy, meaning, and play.
Build your personal needs hierarchy. Separate flexible preferences from core requirements. Discover which needs you've been treating as optional that are actually killing your relationships when unmet.
Choose one under-expressed need and one safe person. Use the need-expression script in a real conversation. Process what happened when you made yourself visible instead of convenient.
Install your needs inventory as a decision-making tool. Apply it to one current relationship and one future choice. Commit to the next 30 days of needs-aware relating.

Coach
The Exponential Coach π€
The Exponential Coach has spent two decades helping people build relationships that don't require them to shrink. Trained in attachment theory, nonviolent communication, and the psychology of intimacy, they've worked with over 1,500 individuals and couples who were tired of choosing between being loved and being themselves. This course distills the needs-clarification work that precedes every successful relationship transformation they've guided. The framework: you can't advocate for yourself in love until you know what you're advocating for. Most people skip this step and wonder why every relationship feels like a compromise they didn't agree to.
Growth, in their own words π
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"I realized I'd been calling myself low-maintenance when I was actually just need-illiterate. Day 5 I asked my best friend for something I needed and she said yes immediately. I'd been starving for a decade because I never learned to name it."
Sofia K., graphic designer, Vienna (composite student voice)
"Single for three years and couldn't figure out why. Turns out I was filtering for nice and funny while my actual core needs were intellectual challenge and shared ambition. I was dating the wrong pool entirely. Clarity changed everything."
James L., product manager, London (composite student voice)
"My partner and I were fine but flat. This course made me realize I'd stopped expressing my need for novelty and adventure because I thought long-term love meant settling into routine. We're planning our first spontaneous trip in five years."
Mira T., teacher, Zurich (composite student voice)
FAQ β―οΈ
I'm single - is this course still useful or is it for couples?+
This course is explicitly designed for singles and partnered people equally. Every task is self-work. Knowing your needs before you're in a relationship is actually the best time to do this work - you'll choose better and settle less from day one.
What if my needs feel selfish or too much?+
That feeling is exactly why you need this course. Day 3 teaches you to separate healthy needs from control or dependency. Needs aren't demands. Expressing them filters for people who can meet you, and that's love, not selfishness.
Do I have to tell my partner I'm taking this course?+
No. The daily tasks involve real people in your life, but you choose who and you control the depth. If you're partnered, some tasks may naturally involve your partner, but the course never requires you to announce you're working on this.
What if I realize my current relationship can't meet my core needs?+
That's information, not failure. The course equips you to have that conversation or make that decision from clarity instead of resentment. Some needs are negotiable, some aren't. Knowing the difference is the gift.
Can I really clarify something this big in 7 days?+
Yes, if you do the work. This isn't passive reading. Each day has a concrete task that builds your needs inventory in real time. By day 7 you'll have a written, ranked, tested list. Most people have never spent seven focused days on this question in their entire lives.
