The Fair Load
Renegotiating Who Does What
Powered by the Exponential Coach Methodology 🧭
Awareness → Authenticity → Action. Every course is built on the same proven loop that has guided 1,500+ leaders from stuck to unstoppable.
You're drowning in the invisible work while your partner asks 'what's for dinner' and you want to scream 💥
The Fair Load
The Fair Load maps what's really happening in your household—not just who does the dishes, but who remembers to buy dish soap, schedules the repair guy, and notices when the kids need new shoes. In 14 days you'll move from resentment (Awareness) to honest conversation (Authenticity) to a rebalanced system both of you actually follow (Action).
Six shifts. One new you. 🌱
Every task mapped: who does it, who plans it, who remembers it, who carries the worry.
Real shifts you both agreed to, not another list your partner ignores.
Language that makes the invisible visible without sounding like an accusation.
Life changes. Your system flexes with it instead of collapsing back to old patterns.
Chores stop being a battleground. You're on the same side again.
You'll know how to delegate the worry, not just the task.
- You're partnered, living together, and one of you is carrying way more than half the load
- You've tried 'just asking for help' and it works for two days then slides back
- You want a system, not a fight—and you're willing to do this work together
- You're ready to name the invisible work out loud even if it feels uncomfortable
- ✕ You're single or your partner refuses to engage in any household conversation (this needs couples therapy first, friend)
- ✕ You want your partner to change but you're not willing to examine your own control patterns
- ✕ You think a chore chart from Pinterest will fix this (it won't—the chart doesn't address who makes the chart)
A curriculum designed to move you 🧭
Days 1–4. Map every task in your household: visible chores, invisible planning, emotional labor, and decision-making. You'll see what you're actually managing and why you're tired.
Days 5–8. Bring the audit to your partner. Learn how to talk about mental load without blame, hear their perspective without defensiveness, and name what fair actually means for you two.
Days 9–12. Redistribute two items—full ownership, not just 'helping.' Install systems that remove the need for reminding. Test the new normal and troubleshoot what breaks.
Days 13–14. Lock in the changes, schedule your first quarterly review, and celebrate being a team again instead of roommates who resent each other.

Coach
The Exponential Coach 🤝
The Exponential Coach has spent 20 years helping leaders build systems that don't collapse under pressure—and that includes the system running your home. After watching hundreds of high-performers burn out not from their jobs but from carrying the household solo, they built The Fair Load to give couples the audit tools and rebalancing language that actually work. This course is born from real kitchen-table negotiations, not theory. The Exponential Coach knows the invisible work is real work, and they'll help you make it visible without turning your relationship into a transaction. You'll leave this course with a system both of you designed, not one you're forcing on a reluctant partner.
Growth, in their own words 💖
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"We finally mapped the mental load and my husband saw it for the first time. He didn't get defensive—he got it. Two weeks in and he's running school mornings without me reminding him once."
Sara K., Munich (composite student voice)
"I thought I was being fair because I 'help' a lot. The audit showed me I was helping with her plan, not co-owning anything. Now I manage groceries end-to-end and she's not the house CEO anymore."
Tom L., Amsterdam (composite student voice)
"The evening recaps kept us honest. We rebalanced meal planning and pet care and it stuck because we both designed the new system. First time a chore conversation didn't end in a fight."
Priya M., London (composite student voice)
FAQ ☯️
What if my partner won't do the audit with me?+
Start it yourself. Day 1 to Day 4 you map everything solo. When you show them the full picture on Day 5, most partners are willing to engage because the invisible is now visible. If they still refuse, that's a relationship issue beyond this course.
Will this work if we have kids?+
Yes. Kids add complexity but the framework is the same. You'll map childcare tasks separately (physical, planning, emotional labor) and rebalance from there. Several tasks are designed for parent couples.
What if we disagree on what 'fair' means?+
Day 6 walks you through that exact conversation. Fair doesn't mean 50-50 on every task—it means both of you feel the load is reasonable given your lives right now. The course gives you the structure to negotiate that.
Can we do this course together or does one person take it?+
One of you takes it and brings the daily tasks to the relationship. The tasks require partner participation (you'll do the audit together, have the conversations together, rebalance together) but only one login is needed.
What if we rebalance something and it slides back?+
Day 14 installs a quarterly review ritual. Most slides happen because life changes and you don't renegotiate. The review catches drift before resentment rebuilds. You'll have the tools to course-correct forever.
