The Toxicity Protocol
The Toxicity Protocol is a 14-day intervention system for leaders who manage managers and own cultural outcomes. You'll move from tolerating the intolerable to documenting, diagnosing, and decisively addressing poisonous behavior at any level. Awareness of the real cost. Authenticity in naming what's broken. Action with a plan that protects people and survives scrutiny.
Six shifts. One new you. π±
A repeatable framework for distinguishing difficult from destructive behavior and mapping organizational impact.
A case file structure that turns vague discomfort into evidence HR and legal will respect.
Scripts for enrolling your boss, peers, and HR without drama or premature escalation.
A tested playbook for the confrontation itself, including what to say when they deny or deflect.
How to shield the team and witnesses from retaliation or collateral damage during the process.
Whether they stay or go, a monitoring and reinforcement plan that prevents recurrence or copycat toxicity.
- You lead a team of managers or a full department, and culture is visibly part of your scorecard.
- You've identified one person whose behavior is damaging others, and you're tired of hoping it resolves itself.
- You're willing to act, but you need a structured process that won't blow up in your face.
- You want to protect your people and your reputation, in that order.
- β You're looking for anonymous feedback tools or gentle nudges. This is about decisive intervention.
- β The toxic person is your peer and you have zero formal authority. You need a different course.
- β You think all personality conflict is toxicity. This course is for real, repeated, harmful patterns only.
A curriculum designed to move you π§
You'll map the behavioral evidence, quantify the damage to retention and performance, and understand why waiting always makes it worse. By day 4, you'll know whether you're dealing with fixable friction or a threat requiring removal.
You'll document patterns with forensic discipline, align stakeholders without leaking the plan, and prepare for every predictable defense. By day 7, you'll have a case file that removes all ambiguity about whether action is justified.
You'll script and rehearse the confrontation, install witness protections, and execute the conversation with clarity and control. By day 11, you'll have delivered the intervention or be mid-sequence with documented next steps.
You'll manage the aftermath whether the person improves, exits, or escalates. You'll debrief with the team, reinforce new norms, and install early-warning systems so the next case gets caught faster. By day 14, you'll have a reusable protocol.

Coach
The Exponential Coach π€
The Exponential Coach has spent 20 years helping leaders do the hard things that textbooks skip. Culture work is where leadership theory meets the reality of power, politics, and people who don't want to change. This course distills two decades of real interventions across industries and geographies into a system you can use starting Monday.
You won't find academic case studies here. Every framework in The Toxicity Protocol comes from leaders who had to make the call, hold the conversation, and live with the consequences. This is the course for leaders who own outcomes, not just org charts.
Growth, in their own words π
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"I had six months of notes but no plan. This course gave me the structure to move from evidence to action in two weeks. The toxic manager is now on a formal plan, my team knows I'll protect them, and I sleep better."
Sarah K., Director of Operations, Munich (composite student voice)
"The stakeholder alignment module saved me. I thought I had to fight this alone, but the course showed me how to get HR and my VP aligned before the intervention. The conversation was still hard, but I wasn't ambushed by process or politics."
James T., Head of Engineering, London (composite student voice)
"I've been avoiding this for a year because I didn't want to be the bad guy. This course reframed it: I'm the bad guy if I don't act. The intervention scripts were so good I used them almost verbatim. The person resigned within a week."
Maria L., Department Head, Vienna (composite student voice)
FAQ β―οΈ
What if the toxic person is more senior than me?+
If they outrank you formally, you need executive sponsorship before intervention. The course includes a stakeholder-alignment protocol specifically for upward toxicity cases. You'll learn how to position the case so your boss owns the action, not you.
What if HR is slow or unsupportive?+
The documentation discipline you'll build makes HR's job easier, not harder. You'll also learn how to escalate around HR if they're blocking necessary action. The goal is protection and performance, with or without HR enthusiasm.
Can I use this for peer toxicity, or only downward?+
The intervention playbook works for peers if you have shared accountability for team outcomes or culture. If you have zero formal authority over the person, the course will clarify what's in your control and what requires your manager to act.
What if the person denies everything or claims I'm biased?+
Expected. You'll prepare for denial, defensiveness, and counter-accusations as part of the intervention sequence. The course teaches you to separate their reaction from the facts and keep the conversation on documented behavior, not feelings.
Will this get me in legal trouble?+
The opposite. Every step is designed to be documentation-safe and legally defensible. You'll learn what HR and legal actually need to see, and how to protect yourself from retaliation claims. This is intervention with guardrails.
