You greenlighted the transformation, now you're drowning in status decks and wondering if anyone's actually changing anything π
Transformation Governance: Steering Without Strangling
This 21-day executive course installs the governance system your transformation actually needs: light on ceremony, heavy on decision clarity. You'll move from Awareness of why most steering models suffocate change, through Authenticity about what you truly need to control versus what you need to release, to Action building a rhythm that catches problems early and keeps the organization moving. By day 21, you'll have run your new cadence live and made real calls.
Six shifts. One new you. π±
You know exactly which calls need the executive team and which don't.
A tested rhythm that surfaces risks without becoming a reporting treadmill.
Every stakeholder knows their actual role, not their meeting invite list.
Three metrics that tell you if you're off track before the board asks.
What you do when velocity drops, scope creeps, or politics flare.
You've released daily oversight and the transformation still runs.
- You're accountable for a transformation that touches multiple functions or the whole enterprise
- You've inherited governance theatre from consultants and want something that actually steers
- You need to stay close enough to catch disasters but far enough that leaders can lead
- You want a system you can hand to your COO or transformation lead without losing control
- β You believe executives should review every decision in every workstream (you'll hate this course)
- β Your transformation is actually a single-department project with a fancy name (you need a PMO, not governance)
- β You're looking for dashboard templates and steering-deck layouts (we build the decision system, not the slide deck)
A curriculum designed to move you π§
Days 1-5. Diagnose your current model. Map the decision bottlenecks, meeting bloat, and false checkpoints. Understand the difference between steering and status reporting. Identify what you actually need to control.
Days 6-10. Define decision rights across the executive team, transformation leadership, and workstream leads. Build your escalation criteria. Choose the three metrics that matter and stop tracking vanity numbers.
Days 11-16. Design and run your new cadence live. Facilitate one real decision gate. Handle one live escalation. Test your early-warning system against current reality. Adjust based on what breaks.
Days 17-21. Embed the rhythm into the executive calendar. Train your transformation lead to run it without you. Prepare the board narrative. Write the playbook for the next transformation. Close with a capstone steering session you actually want to attend.

Coach
The Exponential Coach π€
The Exponential Coach has spent two decades in the room where transformations either take flight or quietly die. From post-merger integrations in financial services to digital overhauls in manufacturing, the common failure point is never the strategy - it's the governance layer that either enables speed or suffocates it. This course distills 47 real transformation steering models (the ones that worked and the ones that became monthly torture sessions) into a system you can install in three weeks.
The Exponential Coach works with C-suite leaders and founders across 60+ countries, translating leadership science into practice that survives first contact with organizational reality. If you've ever sat through a three-hour steering committee and left unsure whether you made a single decision, this course was written for you.
Growth, in their own words π
Composite student voices representing typical outcomes.
"We cut our steering meetings from monthly three-hour sessions to bi-weekly 45-minute decision sprints. We're catching issues faster and the transformation team isn't spending half their week on status decks. I actually know what's happening now."
Claudia Mendez, Chief Transformation Officer, Frankfurt (composite student voice)
"I was terrified to let go of the detailed review process, convinced everything would derail. The escalation criteria gave me the confidence to step back. Two months in, velocity doubled and I'm only pulled in when I actually need to be. Game-changing for my sanity and the program."
James Okonkwo, CEO, London (composite student voice)
"The decision-gate map alone was worth the course fee. We had 17 approval points in our transformation workflow. We're down to five that matter and everything else runs on delegated authority. The speed improvement is visible to the board."
Annika Johansson, Chief Operating Officer, Stockholm (composite student voice)
FAQ β―οΈ
Do I need to pause my current transformation to take this course?+
No. The course is designed to run in parallel. You'll apply each day's work to your live transformation. If anything, you'll get faster results because you're fixing governance problems in real time, not in a hypothetical future state.
What if I'm not the most senior executive on the transformation?+
The course works if you're the CEO, the transformation sponsor, or the program lead - as long as you have the authority to change how decisions are made. If you're purely in an advisory role, you'll learn the model but won't be able to install it without executive mandate.
Will this work for agile transformations, not just traditional program management?+
Yes. The principles apply to any multi-team, multi-quarter change effort. Agile transformations often have worse governance than waterfall ones because people assume agile means no oversight. This course gives you the oversight model that doesn't conflict with agile ways of working.
Is this only for digital or technology transformations?+
No. It applies to any enterprise-scale change: operating model redesigns, culture transformations, M&A integrations, market expansions. The governance challenges are the same - too many meetings, unclear decision rights, and leaders who can't tell if they're on track.
What's the time commitment beyond the daily lesson?+
Each daily lesson is 3-5 minutes. The daily task ranges from 20 minutes (updating a RACI) to 90 minutes (running a live steering session). Total per day: under two hours. You're not adding work - you're replacing low-value steering activities with high-value ones.
